artist statement

My work explores coastal structures as liminal spaces where lived experience, memory, and emotion are felt in relation to landscape and atmosphere. Working across painting, photography, and printmaking, I draw on sensory attention and embodied observation to consider how we see, feel, and experience place.

Through layered, translucent, and luminous surfaces, I explore the interplay of material and emotional qualities as fluid and responsive, shaped through process.

The work invites slow looking, creating space for reflection on perception, presence, and our relationship with the natural world.
